Catch -22 by Joseph Heller, 1955 Robert finished reading this book on July 26, 2008. 453 pages Not as good as everyone says it is. It has too sarcastic of a tone to be maintained for 450 pages. The things that are funny in the beginning quickly get annoying and repetitive. |

The Book of Illusions by Paul Auster, 2002 Robert finished reading this book on June 26, 2008. 321 pages A good read but not not even on the same level as his New York Trilogy. Although the plot was complex and well-crafted, I never felt sympathetic to the characters and the long depictions of the films lost my interest. |
